Bette Hoffman founded Workright, Inc. in 1991. Bette is devoted to helping businesses maintain the health and safety, and enhance the productivity and potential of their greatest asset, their employees. Through engaging and interactive training sessions she has trained thousands how to insure their own health, safety and wellness at work (and home). She can quickly assess the ergonomics of a job and help employees alleviate pain and work more comfortably.

Prior to Workright, Bette Hoffman was the Manager of Outpatient Rehabilitation at the world class Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of a large multidisciplinary team, patient satisfaction, clinical treatment of patients recovering from mild to severe occupational injuries, and innovative program development.

During her tenure at the Brigham, Bette learned the importance of maintaining a healthy, productivity workforce; both from the standpoint of a manager responsible for the functioning of a large, busy department and from the perspective of patients recovering from injury, reclaiming their lives and returning to productive employment.

She gained expertise on why injuries happen and how they can be prevented. She applies this expertise to High-Tech, manufacturing, health care and service organizations to prevent costly claims and enhance productivity.

In addition, Bette has taught at Boston University, University of New Hampshire, Lowell University and Salem State College.

Bette holds a Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Boston University and a B.A. in Sociology from Boston College. She is a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute.

She balances her entrepreneurial efforts with being a mom to her 2 boys, Pilates, enjoying the outdoors, having fun with her family and friends and volunteering in her community.

Bette regularly runs professional and community-based workshops, is active in the Needham Wellness Collaborative and the International Coach Federation and assists in training courses at the Coaches Training Institute.
